I was amazed that I could get this good of a hostel, in this location, for this price. I also found each of the many staff we met to be thoughtful, patient and flexible. It turned out that the space, including the kitchen, was great for my group of 18. I was expecting inconvenience and problems. There were none.

Good price and good staff. Two metro-stops from the main train station. The room is a typical hostel room, with a private washbasin.

Close to the Astoria metro station, close to the heart of the city, great to meet people, some free food like coffe, oil, sugar and other stuff like this, the staff was very kind.
The sheets did not seem to be so clean and it was hot inside the bedroom. Although there ir an advise on the bedroom door they should be more emphatic that it is prohibited to give the bedroom key to someone that is not paying for the badroom, when I was there some turkish girls gave their key to a men that came inside the bedroom in the middle of the dawn, woke me up, and started to bother me.

cool design with Art Nouveau (Jugendstil) pics and ornaments! clean & comfortable
was a bit too loud outside at night, as the windows look direct into the Irish pub

It's located perfectly: close to the main attractions, close to a few nice clubs and also to a shopping avenue. The metro station isn't too far either and the Hop On - Hop Off station is also fairly close if you're into this type of tour guide. The hostel is clean, the staff wonderful and helpful. And best thing of all - it's also cheap. Definitely worth coming back here!

Centrally located, 200 m away from Astoria metro station and 2 stops away from the main train station. In the room you have your own locker with a key, good for keeping your things. They offered 2 computers with internet connection for free use and also they had a nice kitchen with big fridge.
The hostel is basically a big appartment and has been transformed into a hostel, the bedrooms are open to the reception and the living room area, if some people gather in the living room then it is impossible to sleep. It was extremely noisy place, downstairs there was a club where people party till 3 am!! also I was staying during the summer there was no fan or air conditioning in the room, so I had to open the room window which nearly made it impossible for me to sleep because of the noise coming from the main street and from the downstairs club! Staff coming into the room without knocking!! and then they leave the room without locking the door!! Bathroom and shower were rarely cleaned, most of the time there was no toilet paper and in the first 2 days there was no soap!

Super Cheap! I paid 14 euros a night and that was for an upgraded room with only girls. It was really close to the metro but also very central so you could walk most anywhere zithout a problem. There's a 24 hour convenience store a 2 minute walk away which is perfect for cheap breakfasts or late night snacks/drinks. The communal room was big with lots of couches, plus they had computers that you could use at any time.
You had to walk throught he main common room from the shower to get to your room which was a bit awkward. The bar downstairs of the same name is VERY loud until about 2am, and I'm pretty sure it was gay night haha

The staff are very very friendly, helpful and really care about guest
I don't like the resteraut they recommend...But this is not the fault of the hostel. The resteraut say they accept euro, but they won't tell you they accept euro with a very low rate. And they charge you much more than the price on the menu. And they don't return the charges...And not all the food they offer are good, some of them are bad.

Well the location for one was just brilliant, and was located close to ruin bars. The staff was just lovely. They were friendly and very helpful. The rooms were nice and clean, spacious and the internet speed there was great. They also had real coffee which was a great addition. A little noisy sometimes but other than that a great place to stay!

The staff and other visitors there are very nice. Besides, it is close to major tourist attractions in Budapest.
A bit noisy because it is close to a main road.

Very close to city center, clean and with very helpful staff. There is a very useful common area with a kitchen that you can use any time with free food. You can also play your music in this area during the day.
Despite tha fact that the stuff turns off the music in the common area at midnight, there is a club under the hostel that is very noisy, the music continue until very late.
